We all know the story of the Texas Revolution. We have read the stories countless times, of how Sam Houston and his men not only defeated the Mexican army, but also captured Santa Anna. In exchange for his life, Santa Anna ordered the Mexican army to march home in disgrace, forever surrendering Texas. However, what if one event changed the outcome of San Jacinto, an event that would not only change Mexico, but the history of the world?
Where most stories of the Texas Revolution end, ours begins. A small event has changed the outcome of the battle; the war must go on. A wounded Sam Houston now finds himself with an army eager to fight and thousands of Mexican soldiers still in Texas. In Road to La Bahia, we learn how fragile our independence really was.
